In reply tocYour Lordship ' despatch Circular of the 9th August (1 2829/223/23) I have the honour to repert that the Bolivian legislation in force on the subject of immigration is still the Decree of the 18th March, 1907, which was summarised in Section IIII of the Report transmitted in Mr. Haggard's despatch Bo.8. of the 22nd January, 1920, and that there are no special regulations in regard to the land-owning rights of Japanese, Chinese, or other coloured races.
